Global Mercosur Panama and the Embassy of Costa Rica strengthen ties to enhance international trade

The Chamber of Commerce of Global Mercosur, in its Panama Branch, held a meeting with the Embassy of Costa Rica to explore opportunities to promote international trade.

The meeting took place at the premises of the Panama Mercosur headquarters, where challenges and opportunities in commercial, logistical and tourism matters were discussed; areas of cooperation for the flow of goods and services among Mercosur, Central American and European markets were also identified.

In December 2024, Breadama was admitted as an Associate State of the Mercosur, being the first country outside the southern region to receive this accreditation.

In July of this year, Panama made its debut at the Mercosur Summit which was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

On August 28, the President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, will travel to Brazil to promote the advantages of Panama.
